Typhoon Saudel has brought massive amounts of rain to China. The storm is causing serious flooding in coastal areas and inland regions like Hunan.

The situation is dangerous. In one scary moment caught on video, a three-story building fell down as floodwaters rushed through. Because of the storm, over 2,500 people—mostly students—are stuck inside a school. They are currently waiting for help to reach them.

Rescue teams are working hard to save people who are trapped. It is a very difficult situation. Dikes, which are walls built to keep water back, have broken in some places. Because of the heavy water, more than 100 houses have already collapsed.

Many people are currently reported as missing. Officials are doing everything they can to find them and keep the public safe. People in the area are being told to stay away from floodwaters and follow instructions from rescue workers.
