Tensions Rise as Germany Blames Russia for Attack at Leipzig Airport

Things are getting very tense between Germany and Russia. Germany recently blamed Russia for a drone attack that happened at the Leipzig Airport.
Because of this, the European Union and NATO say they are going to put more pressure on Russia. They see this attack as a major step up in the conflict.
Not everyone agrees on why this is happening, though. Bulgaria's prime minister suggested that the attack might have been caused by Western countries supporting Ukraine. He thinks that support might have triggered a response from Russia.
At the same time, the situation is getting even colder. Russia announced that it will shut down German cultural centers in its country. This is another sign that the relationship between the two nations is hitting a new low.
Experts are also worried about how this affects German politics. People are concerned that the far-right political party in Germany, the AfD, and Russian efforts to influence public opinion could create even more trouble for Germany’s leaders as they try to handle these new threats.
