Ukraine just launched one of the biggest aerial attacks of the entire war. They sent about 600 drones into Russia. This comes right after Russia hit Ukraine’s capital city, Kyiv, with a large number of missiles.
Ukraine is hitting back hard. They targeted a major rocket factory and a space facility in Samara, Russia. Using cruise missiles, Ukraine aimed for these key spots to strike at Russia’s military supply lines.
This follows a recent incident where Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy targeted Russia's satellite network. Some people are saying this shows President Putin has broken promises he made to the Russian people about protecting them from the war at home.
The situation is very intense. Russia is still firing missiles at Kyiv, and Ukraine is responding with these large waves of drones. Both sides are focusing on hitting each other's military and technology sites to gain an advantage.
