Ukraine is warning that Russia is preparing for a major new ground attack. Officials say Russian forces may target Kyiv, the capital city, as well as the city of Chernihiv.
Experts have been watching Russia's next moves closely. While some reports talk about the possibility of Russia using nuclear weapons, many analysts call those claims "radioactive baloney" and say it is mostly talk to scare people.
Instead, the focus is on a massive increase in soldiers. Some reports suggest Russia could try to use as many as 300,000 troops in a new, powerful push. Even though Vladimir Putin faces many problems with his military and the economy, he appears determined to keep fighting.
For now, the situation on the ground remains very tense. Ukraine says it is ready to defend its cities against these new plans. We will keep you updated as we learn more about what is happening on the front lines.
