Zelenskyy Denies Ukraine Had Any Part in Nord Stream Pipeline Blasts

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says his country did not blow up the Nord Stream gas pipelines. He is speaking out to clear his country's name after reports suggested Ukraine might have been involved.

The Nord Stream pipelines carried natural gas from Russia to Germany. They were badly damaged by underwater explosions back in September 2022. It has been a mystery ever since who was behind the sabotage.

Zelenskyy insisted that Ukraine had nothing to do with the attack. He also said that his government is ready to help with any official investigations into what happened.

His comments come as news reports have started to point fingers at Ukrainian involvement in the operation. Zelenskyy's firm denial is meant to put those rumors to rest and keep the focus on his country's ongoing defense against Russia.
