Houthi Rebels Take Key Port in Yemen, Threatening Global Oil and Shipping

Houthi rebels have captured a very important port city in Yemen called Mocha. This is a big win for the group, which is backed by Iran.
Because this port is on the Red Sea, the move is creating a lot of worry. The Red Sea is one of the busiest paths for ships in the whole world. A huge amount of the world's oil and other goods travel through these waters every single day.
Experts are worried because the rebels now have more power over these shipping lanes. Because of the fighting, the price of oil has already started to climb, going above $100 a barrel.
There are also reports that fighters from Iran’s Revolutionary Guard—a special military group—are now helping the Houthis on the ground. This means the war in Yemen is getting much bigger and more dangerous.
Countries around the world are watching closely. If the rebels can stop or threaten ships, it could make things like gas and food much more expensive for everyone. For now, the situation remains tense as the fighting spreads along the coast.
