It has been ten days since terrible flash floods hit Nepal. Even after all this time, rescuers are still finding people alive.
One of the most amazing stories is about a Chinese citizen. They were found trapped inside a tunnel. The person had been stuck there since the floods first started. Their family back in China had been waiting anxiously for any news, and they are incredibly relieved to hear their loved one is safe.
In another story, a woman was found alive after her house was completely buried by mud and debris. Rescuers had to work through a mountain of dirt to reach her. It is rare to find people alive this long after such a disaster, but search teams are not giving up hope.
Teams are still working around the clock across the region. They are clearing away the damage and looking for anyone else who might have survived. While the situation is still very serious and many people are still missing, these rescues have given families a small spark of hope during a very dark time.
