A massive wave of violence is sweeping through Yemen. Because of this, tens of thousands of people are running for their lives.
Recent reports say that Houthi rebels, who are backed by Iran, are moving quickly along the coast of the Red Sea. As they advance, they are pushing civilians out of their homes.
Some estimates suggest that nearly 80,000 people have already fled. Many families said they left in such a hurry that they only had the clothes on their backs. One person described the situation as a "hysterical panic." People are terrified and unsure of where to go next.
Many of these families are heading toward Djibouti, a country just across the water from Yemen. It is a desperate situation, and thousands of people are now being forced to seek safety in neighboring areas just to stay alive.
Aid workers and reporters on the ground say the fighting is getting much worse. The speed of the rebels' advance has left many people feeling caught in the middle of a war they cannot escape.
