Ukraine Hits Deep Into Russia With New Wave of Drone Attacks

Ukraine is hitting targets deep inside Russia. In a major move, Ukrainian drones struck an oil refinery in Russia's Volga region. This is part of a larger push to damage Russia's ability to fuel its military.
At the same time, Ukraine confirmed it hit a plant in Tolyatti. This factory makes special rubber used for rocket fuel. By destroying this, Ukraine hopes to slow down Russia's production of weapons.
There was also a fire at a large Ozon warehouse in Saratov after a drone attack. Ozon is a store similar to Amazon, and the fire caused significant damage.
These attacks are part of a trend. Ukraine is using drones to reach further into Russia than ever before. This includes a recent strike on an Arctic gas site, which shows that Ukraine is finding ways to hit even very distant targets.
Military experts at the Institute for the Study of War are keeping a close watch on these moves. While the war continues on the front lines, these long-distance drone strikes are becoming a key way for Ukraine to fight back against Russian supply chains.
