Things are getting worse in Ukraine. As winter draws closer, Russia is changing how it fights. Instead of just fighting on the front lines, they are launching more "saturation attacks." This is a military term that means they are throwing as many missiles and drones as they can at once. The goal is to overwhelm Ukraine's defenses so that more of these weapons hit their targets.

Experts at the Institute for the Study of War say Russia is doing this on purpose. They want to wear Ukraine down before the freezing winter weather sets in. By hitting cities during the day and causing destruction, they hope to force Ukraine to give up.

Even with these brutal attacks, the fighting on the ground is changing too. While the front lines have been stuck for a while, Ukraine has managed to push back and take back some of its territory. It is a back-and-forth battle, and the situation is very tense.

Russia is clearly trying to use the cold weather as a weapon. They want to make life as hard as possible for the people of Ukraine. But despite the heavy bombing and the constant threat, Ukrainian forces are still fighting to get their land back.

The coming months will be difficult for everyone involved. For now, the attacks continue, and the danger for people on the ground remains very high.
