Sweden is sending fighter jets and ships to protect Finland

Sweden is sending fighter jets and warships to Finland. This is a big deal because it is the first time Sweden has sent its own jets to protect Finnish territory.
The two countries are working together to keep the region safe. Officials say this move is part of a plan to increase combat readiness, especially because of ongoing tensions with Russia.
Beyond just sending planes and ships, the two countries are also teaming up to stop drones. They are working on new ways to detect and block drones that might fly where they shouldn't.
Finland has been increasing its defense efforts recently. By working closely with Sweden, both countries hope to be better prepared for any threats. The goal is to make sure their borders stay secure and that they can act fast if something goes wrong.
