Russia strikes train near border; NATO promises more support for Ukraine

Russia launched a drone attack on a train near the border of Ukraine and Poland. Top officials in the European Union say the goal was to scare Ukraine’s allies and make them worry about helping Ukraine.
However, the plan does not seem to be working. Leaders from NATO—a group of countries that work together for safety—have promised to keep supporting Ukraine. The head of NATO said clearly that these attacks will not stop them from helping Ukraine defend itself.
People in neighboring countries are feeling nervous because the explosion happened so close to the border. Even so, the message from the West remains the same: they will not be pushed around by Russia's attacks on trains or other transport lines.
